【Application Scenarios】
In cleanrooms, factory workshops, and other industrial environments, carts are essential tools for material transport. However, vibrations generated during travel and impact shocks during start/stop operations can adversely affect the transported materials. This is particularly critical in cleanrooms where crystal materials are handled—vibration can cause damage or even total scrapping of the product.
【Isolation Solutions】
Anlijing Vibration Control Technology Co., Ltd. offers tailored vibration isolation solutions for carts used in different scenarios:
For carts used in cleanrooms, the isolator must deliver excellent vibration isolation performance while generating absolutely no particulate contamination or debris. Anlijing recommends the dedicated ALJ‑98 Magnetic Vibration Isolator.
Construction: 304 stainless steel housing with permanent rare‑earth magnets.
Friction‑free operation: The magnetic structure involves no mechanical contact, resulting in zero friction and zero particle generation during operation—ideal for cleanroom environments.
Natural frequency: Approximately 4 Hz, providing effective isolation of low‑frequency vibrations and shock energy.
Maintenance‑free: Long service life with extremely slow natural decay of critical isolation elements.
Material benefits: 304 stainless steel offers excellent resistance to temperature extremes and corrosion.
Load capacity: Up to 10 kg per unit, with a wide load range.
Alternative option: If a wire‑rope isolator is preferred, Anlijing can supply wire‑rope isolators with a dip‑coating (plastic‑encapsulated) process. This coating temporarily prevents particle generation, making it a viable choice for cleanroom carts. However, users should be aware that long‑term use may lead to surface aging, peeling, and eventual debris generation.
For carts in standard workshops, the simplest, most convenient, and practical solution is to directly install wire‑rope vibration isolators. Anlijing recommends the ALJ‑81 Wire‑Rope Vibration Isolator.
Cable construction: Each wire rope is made of 7×19 high‑strength steel strands.
Damping mechanism: During vibration, relative sliding and friction occur between individual wires, generating natural damping that effectively cushions shocks and vibrations from cart travel.
Installation flexibility: The isolators can be mounted at a 45° angle or aligned with the cart frame, as long as they are arranged symmetrically (see installation diagrams).
If an alternative isolator format is required, the ALJ‑89B All‑Metal Vibration Isolator is also available.
Material: Fully 304 stainless steel—resistant to high/low temperatures, corrosion, humidity, salt spray, and fungus.
Performance: Low‑frequency, high‑damping characteristics, suitable for cushioning and isolation of precision instruments in aerospace, marine, vehicle‑mounted, and other demanding applications.
For cart‑mounted isolators, there is no restriction on mounting location—they can be installed at the wheels, on the platform, or both. As long as the selection is based on the actual load and a proper safety factor, the desired isolation effect can be achieved.
Load: Use the maximum weight of the platform plus the typical payload.
Safety factor:
For standard smooth floor conditions, select with a safety factor of 1.2–1.5 times the static load.
For uneven plant floor conditions, select with a safety factor of 2.0 times the static load.
