Die-cutting machines are the "shape makers" of the paper packaging industry. They use matched upper and lower steel rule dies to apply pressure, accurately cutting printed paperboard into the required shapes while simultaneously creating crease lines for folding. During the die-cutting and creasing process, significant impact vibration is generated, which can easily be transmitted through the building structure.
A die-cutting machine weighing 3,000 kg was installed on the second floor of a carton manufacturing facility. The machine operates at less than 60 strokes per minute. During operation, impact vibration and structure-borne noise were transmitted through the floor slab, causing severe disturbance to the area below. An effective vibration isolation solution was therefore required.
For this application, Anlijing Vibration Control Technology Co., Ltd. recommends the ALJ-52 Series Air Spring Isolator to effectively interrupt the vibration transmission path.

Ignoring load eccentricity for this example, the isolator selection is calculated using:
Machine Weight × Safety Factor ÷ Number of Mounting Points
Based on the calculation, the design load at each mounting point is approximately 1,125 kg.
Therefore, the ALJ-52007 Air Spring Isolator is recommended to meet the vibration isolation requirements.
The air chamber is integrally vulcanized from high-quality natural rubber and a seamless steel cylinder, providing excellent airtightness, superior elasticity, and long-term durability.
By utilizing compressed air as a nonlinear elastic element, the isolator achieves an exceptionally low natural frequency of approximately 3–5 Hz, enabling highly efficient isolation of low-frequency impact vibration at the source.
Additionally, because air is a poor conductor of sound, the air spring effectively suppresses the transmission of structure-borne noise, delivering both vibration isolation and acoustic insulation.
Multiple damping cylinders are evenly distributed around the air spring and filled with damping oil to rapidly dissipate vibration energy, reduce vibration amplitude, and minimize vibration transmission.
Heavy-duty upper and lower steel plates further enhance lateral stability, ensuring reliable performance under dynamic operating conditions.
No special foundation or complicated civil work is required.
Simply install the air spring isolators between the machine mounting feet and the floor, ensuring that the centerline of each machine foot is aligned with the centerline of the isolator.
